It was wonderful to be around loved ones and be silly and laugh and enjoy company. I woke up this morning after much wine, gifts, fudge and festivities with a stuffed up nose and scratchy throat, and despite all my wishes for it to go away, I’ve resorted to drinking NeoCitran so fast my salivary glands are going into overdrive.  Tonight, and for the next week, I’m going to make plans for the New Year, which is coming up faster than I can think.

New Years’ has always been my favourite holiday of them all, and I can’t wait for this one.
